Kyohei Miyabe (the "Operator") sets out this Privacy Policy (the "Policy") regarding the handling of user information in the smartphone/web game "Manusummon" (the "Service").
1. Information We Collect
In providing the Service, the Operator collects the following information:
- Email address (used for account registration and login)
- Text and drawings entered by the user (used for monster/hero/equipment generation requests)
- Generated content (pixel-art images, names, backstories, stats, skills, etc.)
- Play history such as battles, Codex registrations, and league matches
- Usage data such as the number of generative AI calls (for quota management)
- Content submitted via the in-app inquiry form
- Connection information necessary for the app to function (e.g., IP address, which may be recorded as part of AWS's standard access logs)
2. Purpose of Use
Collected information is used for the following purposes:
- Authenticating and managing accounts
- Providing monster/hero/equipment generation, growth, and battle features
- Managing usage limits (quota)
- Preventing unauthorized use and inappropriate content
- Responding to inquiries
- Maintaining and improving the Service
3. Transmission to Generative AI (External Service)
Text and drawings entered by users are transmitted to an external generative AI service provider's API for content generation. Before transmission, content containing personal information is detected and blocked locally, but users should exercise their own judgment regarding the sensitivity of the content they enter. Content transmitted to the generative AI is handled in accordance with that external provider's policies.
4. Data Storage
Collected information is stored on databases (Amazon DynamoDB) and storage (Amazon S3) provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS). The Operator does not retain passwords; they are securely managed by Amazon Cognito.
5. Disclosure to Third Parties
The Operator will not disclose collected information to third parties without the individual's consent, except in the following cases:
- Where required by law
- Where necessary to provide the generative AI features, in transmitting input content to the generative AI service provider (see the preceding section)
- Where, in providing advertisement-viewing or payment (subscription) features, the minimum information necessary is exchanged with the external providers of those features (these features may not yet be available)
6. Cookies and Advertising
The Service may use cookies provided by third-party advertising vendors, including Google AdSense, to serve ads. These vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this Service or other websites, in order to display ads relevant to the user's interests. Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings (https://adssettings.google.com/).
7. Deletion of Data
Users may request deletion of their data as follows:
- Individually delete monsters or equipment they created from the Codex and equipment list screens
- Delete their account entirely from the Account Settings screen; upon deletion, account information and generated content are deleted
- Where self-deletion is not sufficient, request deletion via the in-app inquiry form
8. Use by Minors
Minors should use the Service only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
9. Changes to This Policy
The Operator may change this Policy as necessary. Revised content takes effect once displayed within the Service.

Inquiries regarding the disclosure, correction, or deletion of collected information are accepted via the in-app inquiry form.
